Leadership and insider emails are defined by who sends them or who receives them. They carry authority, or they provide insider access to information not shared publicly.

When to use

• To communicate directly from a CEO, Secretary or Director-General.
• To provide exclusive updates to staff, partners or stakeholders.
• To broadcast a major organisational change.

Design guidance

Layouts are typically single column for clarity and authority. Keep typography conservative and use NSW Government branding consistently. For leadership messages, consider a letter-style format with signature or portrait.
